Originally by: Tutskii Posting to confirm this was completely underwhelming. From the half assed "this is a scam" reveal, to the "someone send me hate mail" begging in SCC, this seems more a cry for help and attention than anything else.
Brock never disappoints at disappointing.
I think the only noteworthy part was Brock trying to think up someone of his generation that still plays and might care about his scam.
I will also point out that as far as "MD Elite" scams go, this was the lowest yielding of the bunch. Which makes the "is this is a troll?" response more than warranted.
I don't think what is sadder, that you would burn yourself for money you didn't even need or know how to spend for lulz, or that nobody even cared.
Or you, in general.
Why do people have to make these idiotic normative judgements after every single scam? just take it for what it is and move on...
Is this some ritual to reassure yourself that your ethical standards represent the majority view, a way of getting back at the scammer (who hasn't done you any harm) by insulting him or what is the idea behind calling every single scam "sad"?
Don't say it is about the size of the scam or ISK/effort ... because the same comments are invariably posted after each successful scam, even the large ones.
It is always implied that the scam is a failure on the scammer's part and not the successful execution of a plan, it is always implied that burning one character's rep will somehow destroy the scammer's karma forever, people always "pity" the scammer, ... the same ****ing ritual over and over (and no amount of details & facts about the scam seems to be able to change that)
I understand poking fun at failed scammers (Armoured C comes to mind) but Brock's scam was reasonably successful and your post doesn't sound "fun" at all...
In pvp you write a "gf" in local and move on, in MD you write butthurt forum posts even if you weren't negatively affected by the scam in question?
